The Work Ready for the Building and Construction Industry Program is designed to show you what to expect on a typical day in the industry. Throughout this program, you will engage with industry mentors and operating businesses.
- Participants to undertake both accredited and non-accredited training.
- Upon completion of the accredited units and classroom based training, participants will move onto work placements.
When: 3 November 2017, 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Where: Work & Training, 1 Bowen Road, Moonah
Here’s how it works:
3 Nov 2017 – Attend pre-qualification session
24 Nov 2017 – Acceptance into program
27 Nov – 1 Dec 2017 – Work readiness training
4 Dec 2017 – Commence work placement
31 Jan 2018 – Complete Program
Jan – July 2018 – Graduation and supported job search
