Indigenous Advancement Literacy Program

The Indigenous Advancement Literacy Program is a FREE program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members to develop language, literacy, and numeracy skills, along with employability skills to support transition to employment.

How we can help

Training and assistance through this program is tailored to individual needs and interests; the following list gives some examples of support we can provide:

  • Writing resumes and job applications
  • Improve your reading, writing or maths
  • Computer skills including, but not limited to:
    – word processing
    – spreadsheets
    – social networking
    – job search sites
    – tablets and apps
    – email
    – publications
  • Confidence for job interviews
  • Help with school work or other education

Book a session

To be eligible for the program, you must be living in Moonah, Glenorchy, Claremont, Bridgewater, Risdon Vale, New Norfolk and surrounding suburbs.
