BSB30719 – Certificate III in Work Health and Safety
This qualification reflects the role of individuals performing work health and safety (WHS) duties in addition to their main duties.
They may provide technical advice and support to a team and apply a range of competencies in varied work contexts. It provides the skills and knowledge required to contribute to a variety of WHS tasks.
This qualification provides the skills and knowledge required to support workplace health and safety activities across a range of industries. Participants will learn how to identify hazards, contribute to risk control processes, and assist in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
This qualification has 11 units, 6 core, 5 elective to complete. On completion, participants will be able to demonstrate the practical skills and knowledge regarding:
- WHS legislation, compliance and workplace procedures
- Hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control
- WHS communication, consultation and incident response
