This workshop covers the skills and knowledge required to develop spreadsheets through the use of excel spreadsheet software.

On completion of this short course you will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Course Content

The beginners workshop shows the fundamentals of Microsoft Excel  through practical exercises using everyday examples. 

As a beginner course, the primary focus of the training is on honing the skills required to create correct, well-planned spreadsheets, demonstrating sound document design.

Learn to navigate around Excel and at the end of the workshop you will be able to: 

  • Design spreadsheets
  • Use software functions, graphics and support materials to create spreadsheets
  • Apply knowledge of formatting requirements for workplace documents
  • Produce and modify simple charts
  • Use and test formulae
  • Plan, create and finalise spreadsheets

Cost: $150

For students enrolled in BSBTEC302 as part of a qualification with Work & Training this course is free and will be assessed as an accredited unit of competency.
