This workshop covers the skills and knowledge required to design and develop business documents using complex technical features of word processing software.

On completion of this short course you will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Course Content

Existing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word are enhanced by covering more complex aspects of formatting, pictures, tables and lists, and introduces new features such as merging, sections and styles.

Skills and techniques you will learn during the course include:

  • Use complex technical functions of Word documents including content control tools, quick parts and table of contents
  • Add complex tables and other data
  • Create complex design themes and use heading styles
  • Create and use mail merges
  • Create and use macros
  • Prepare, design and produce complex documents and templates
  • Troubleshoot and use manuals and online help

Cost: $150

For students enrolled in BSBTEC302 as part of a qualification with Work & Training this course is free and will be assessed as an accredited unit of competency.
