This workshop covers the skills and knowledge required to design and develop business documents using complex technical features of word processing software.

Course Content

Existing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word are enhanced by covering more complex aspects of formatting, pictures, tables and lists, and introduces new features such as merging, sections and styles.

You will also learn advanced tasks such as bookmarks, indexes, endnotes and footnotes, use Master Documents, columns and outlining. 

Skills and techniques you will learn during the course include:

  • Complex merges 
  • Import data from other programs 
  • Advanced automation through the use of fields, forms and macros.
