Leanne Wallace, Work & Training CEO, spoke to Triple M Breakfast host Tubes about the importance of apprenticeships and traineeships and the hundreds of Tasmanians who graduated this year.
“Apprenticeships and traineeships are a great way to get started in a career,” Leanne said. “They provide on-the-job training and experience, and they can lead to full-time employment.”
Leanne encouraged Tasmanians to consider an apprenticeship or traineeship as a way to get ahead in their career.
“There are a wide range of apprenticeships and traineeships available in Tasmania, so there’s something for everyone,” she said. “We have a strong economy and a growing demand for skilled workers, so there are plenty of opportunities available.”
